What you would do
- You are responsible for the successful implementation of RI information products (expert / senior role only)
- You are responsible for conducting research and analysis, aimed at relevance for and usability in the investment process
- You are responsible to run the implementation process to ensure accurate and timely availability of RI information products and classifications across all asset classes
- Contributing to development of RI models/tools and innovative research techniques
- Exploring and analyzing relevant RI developments/trends in the investment field and judge relevance for the AM investment processes, products and tools
- Where necessary, you lead process improvements of existing products and classifications
- Knowledge of the ESG data models and ratings available on the market, their potential flaws and their coverage (available and under development)
- Act as Subject Matter Expert (SME) in (multi-disciplinary) working groups or projects, contributing to the realization of the common targets
You will be based in Amsterdam at our office at Amsterdam Sloterdijk, with the possibility to work from home a part of the week.

What you bring
You are an independent and analytical thinker with excellent communication skills, who builds and maintains strong relationships. You have high standards for the quality of your work and your organizational sensitivity towards both the client and APG is well developed.
Furthermore we ask for:
- Master’s in Business, Economics, Finance or equivalent;
- CFA, CAIA or equivalent is a plus;
- 10+ years of relevant experience (expert role) 5+ years of relevant experience (senior);
- 3+ years of financial analysis experience (senior role);
- Knowledge of investment (processes) and products; insight in developments in field and Front Office requirements;
- Fundamental specialist knowledge and strong understanding of and insight in ESG subject matter and developments;
- Helicopter view.
